Meet Vikki Martinez

Hi, I’m Vikki—half English, half Spanish, born in the UK but made in Spain! I’m an interior design professional and my journey started in Galicia, surrounded by lush mountains and the rhythm of the Atlantic, though I grew up in Shrewsbury.

Over two decades ago, I returned to a small Galician village, trained as a TESOL teacher, and took on the challenge of building my home from the ground up. That hands-on experience ignited my passion for interior design, leading me to become a qualified interior designer with a special focus on color consultancy.

Now, living in northern Spain, I draw inspiration from natural textures, earthy tones, and sustainable materials, believing that excellent design isn’t just about aesthetics but about creating a home that truly feels good. This blog is my way of sharing ideas, inspiration, and accessible design tips to help others create spaces they truly love!
